About Kinoe

Intuitive
Creation.

Creativity should be intuitive. Kinoe is an artist-run creative technology company built around lowering the distance between an idea and making, while preserving depth, quality and control.

Why we are building it

Creative work rarely moves in a straight line.

Kinoe brings the two practices together around a practical creative question: how do you make it easier to explore an image without losing the decisions that make it yours? Intuitive Creation means a clear way in, with depth and customisation as the work develops.

In one browser workspace, artists can bring media, effects and animation together for GIFs and video, experiment with rhythm and texture, then refine the result. We judge the tool by how well it supports that process, from the first experiment to the finished piece. The work, and the artist’s choices, stay central.

Made by artists, for artists

The work stays in the foreground.

Booter

Co-founder · Artist

Booter is a new media artist working across images, GIFs and video, alongside commissions, fine art prints and apparel. He shares his work as @booterart on X, Instagram and Threads.

As Kinoe’s co-founder, he builds through an agent-assisted workflow that connects creative experimentation, product development and testing. His artist’s practice shapes what gets built and how the results are reviewed.

He coordinates development, testing and review across Kinoe’s Studio and focused GIF tools through agent-assisted workflows.

  • Over 20 million impressions on X.
  • Over 20 million impressions on Instagram.
  • Over 6 million impressions on Threads.

Nobleheart

Co-founder · Artist

Nobleheart is the artist behind Sacred OS, a digital-art practice built around sacred iconography, pixels, dither and corrupted frames.

He describes his process as closer to sculpting than illustration: generated material is shaped through masking, corruption passes and carefully chosen frame timing. Authorship rests in those decisions.

He was commissioned by Ben Lamm, co-founder and CEO of Colossal Biosciences, for the Chaotic Capital website.

His work has been featured at Beeple Studios, and he shares new pieces alongside examples made with Kinoe.

  • Over 15 million impressions across platforms.

What we stand for

Creativity should be intuitive.

Lower the barrier to entry. Keep depth, quality and artist control in reach as the work develops.

Creative control

The result should feel like your work, not the software’s signature.

Depth without friction

Make the first useful action obvious. Keep deeper controls available when the work calls for them.

Craft in the whole experience

The interface, preview, project you reopen and file you export all deserve the same attention.

Honest progress

Show what is available, describe what changed and credit the people whose ideas and feedback help improve it. Do not present an experiment as a finished feature.

Current product

In public beta.

Kinoe is open to use and still being developed. The Studio supports layered images in motion, effect stacks, animation, tracking tools, sound inputs and GIF or MP4 output. The focused tools handle specific GIF workflows.

  • Keep your original files. Save a .kinoe project file for work you want to keep; downloaded media is a separate export.
  • Browser autosave can help with recovery, but it is not a backup. Browser storage can be cleared or become unavailable, and recent edits can be lost.
  • Large or complex exports can be refused or fail because memory, storage, graphics and codec support vary by device. Nothing is resized automatically to hide a limit.
  • Motion tracking follows image position; it does not recognise identities. Blob IDs can change when detections cross, overlap, disappear or tracking resets.
  • Review the exported file before publishing it.

Read the Studio guide for workflow steps, format notes and effect parameters.

Your media

Your files stay under your control.

Kinoe’s creative tools process images, GIFs and video in your browser. Studio keeps recent project recovery data in this browser, on this device. Clearing this site’s data removes that local information. Files you download or share go where you choose.

Some export workflows use temporary on-device storage. The guide explains when that applies and what it does not cover. A separately saved .kinoe file is the copy you control.
